Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee the tax compliance and planning processes for our clients, ensuring adherence to all tax regulations while maximizing tax efficiencies. This role requires strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of tax laws to provide strategic advice and support to the team and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and corporations.
• Develop tax strategies and provide advice on tax implications of business transactions.
• Conduct tax research and provide guidance on complex tax issues.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and laws, staying current with changes in tax legislation.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and inquiries.
• Mentor and train junior staff to enhance their tax knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is Preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex tax concepts to clients and team members.
• Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
