Public Partnerships LLC (PPL) provides helps people with disabilities, chronic illnesses, or other long-term health conditions stay at home and "self-direct" their care. Known as consumer direction in New York, this long-term care model empowers people to take control of who provides their services and where. PPL was selected to be the Statewide Fiscal Intermediary for the New York Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP) starting in 2025. We will, along with a diverse alliance of service partners across the state, support the delivery of culturally sensitive and disability competent care to CDPAP participants. We are looking for people who share our passion for helping New Yorkers live happy, healthy, and independent lives to support CDPAP consumers and their personal assistants across a broad spectrum of services and functions.

Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: 3+ years' management/supervisor experience in multi-state payroll tax.
Working Conditions:
Remote - NY State residency required
Supervisory Responsibility:
Yes, will supervise employees
Salary Range: $93,000k /annually

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Apply problem solving and proven research methods to coordinate document entry, streamline processes and provide effective reporting in an outsourced payroll environment.
- Coordinates and leads their team activities daily, focusing on high quality process execution.
- Responsible for ensuring internal PPL performance metrics and staff performance are consistent with client contract and internal management expectations.
- Responsible for assisting with development and evaluation of assigned staff and staff training
- Responsible for managing adequate records/documentation for audit and internal control purposes.
- Provides oversight and guidance to assigned staff to ensure accuracy/timeliness of daily tax processes.
- Manages staff to ensure timely tax filings to IRS and NY state agencies, daily, monthly, and quarterly within standard PPL performance metrics.
- Coordinates staff and technical activities related to tax processes.
- Provide audit support as needed.
- Review existing processes for efficiency and recommend process improvements as needed.
- Ensure processes and documentation are always audit ready.
- Provides coaching, guidance and feedback to employees as needed.
- Provide oversight to outsourced payroll provider.
- Accountable for process execution by their team.
- Collaborates with management to provide oversight to execute accurate, timely year-end processing.
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
- Regularly assesses staffing needs, identify areas of team or individual development, and implement a plan to address personal or technical growth.
