This position is a member of our Air Permits Division.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING...
- Manage highly advanced production teams within the section, which includes overseeing federal operating permit workload and production (including quality and quantity of reviews); and streamlining activities to help with permit timeframe tracking (PTT) goals.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee staff efforts to ensure appropriate use of resources as well as compliance with budget guidelines. Completes personnel management functions, which includes interviewing, hiring and developing staff, performance management, etc.
- Advise Air Permits management, TCEQ executives, and legal staff on decisions regarding the implementation and ongoing status of all appropriate programs.
- Provide highly advanced technical assistance related to permitting programs for internal and external customers.
Qualifications:
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supervising staff (hiring, performance management, etc.)
- Experience with air permitting - New Source Review and/or Title V.
- Experience with federal and state air regulations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in the management of a business function, division, or department relevant to assignment.
OR
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in a field relevant to assignment.
