War on Cost has an opening for a Team Lead to manage and lead a team responsible for administering Systems and Product Change and Production Incorporation reviews of aircraft engine systems and components. The team lead position will ensure requirements are met, train and coach team members, and drive quality and reliability.

The team lead position will ensure requirements are met, train and coach team members, and drive quality and reliability.
Job Requirements:
- Responsibilities of the Team Lead include managing and leading a team who works with systems, product engineering, and manufacturing product team members to facilitate and support execution of systems, product design change, and production and incorporation reviews.
- Manage multiple tasks across several different Statements of Work, customers, and engine programs.
- Organize delegation of job assignments, provide quotes and adjustments to Statements of Work.
- Train, coach, review, and approve work completed by team prior to submitting it to customers.
- Oversee and monitor progress for Statements of Work and report status to SoW owners.
- Conduct on-going communication with customers and project stakeholders.
- Track project metrics and prepare status reports
- Manage and address overdue deliveries and escapes
- Introduce process improvements, create cost savings proposals, and collaborate on initiatives regarding quality management systems
- Ensure export / ITAR compliance in respect to project deliverables
- Support of other processes, as needed, including analysis and reporting
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience or an Advance Degree in related field with minimum 3 years' experience
- Ability to use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and electronic databases
- Candidate must have good written and oral communication skills, at all levels of management from engineer to executives
- Ability to host and facilitate cross functional reviews using electronic software, communicate with customers, and efficiently track and manage incoming requests.
- Ability to manage and track multiple tasks across several different programs and customers, both internally and externally
- Candidate must have effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) as a Project Leader, Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or related position.
- US Citizenship required due to government contracts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with aircraft and or engine engineering processes
- Experience with Systems Integration and Configuration Management processes, such as Integrated Program Deployment and Product Design Review processes
- Experience with Lotus Notes, SharePoint, and Teamcenter PDM and PLM systems
