RVA's is looking for a dynamic Team Lead, Public Relations for its Municipal group.

Duties:
  • Lead mentor and motivate field ambassadors ensuring the highest level of efficiency, direct support services, and customer satisfaction
  • Hold staff members accountable to their job duties, performance and development.
  • Support the team in facility facilitating communication, in writing and in person, between the public and project team within a municipal construction environment, including support and interactions at project sites.
  • Developing rapport with construction teams, residents, and business owners.
  • Preparing individual delivering preconstruction and construction notices prior to work taking place or ensuring that notices have been delivered through random audit visits.
  • Drafting project specific stakeholder registry an impact analysis of checklist and other necessary documents.
  • Ensuring all received claims/complaints are tracked including names nature of the issue follow up on resolution and document the resolution.
  • Visiting and speaking to residents, institutions and businesses in person and serving as a point of contact for any concerns or issues raised through the project hotline or a person.
  • Working closely with cities construction teams and city staff to resolve any issues.
  • Ensuring all interaction with the public are recorded, documenting the issues and the resolution.
  • Attending the preconstruction meeting and any construction meetings as required for coordination purposes.
  • Ensure the group distributes the information promptly to all relevant team members and following up frequently to ensure that issues are resolved as quickly as possible.
  • Ensuring monthly updates are completed and forwarded to the project team at site meetings including detailed reports public.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7-10 years' experience in leading or mentoring a customer services or public relations team
  • Knowledge in construction of Municipal and/or Transportation infrastructure projects is an asset but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of problem-solving capabilities.
  • Superior English communication skills both oral and written.
  • Demonstrated experience in conflict management and negotiation is an asset.
  • Strong computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
