Specifically, the Trust Administration team here at Schwab is a part of the greater RBS Operational Control and System Optimization Team supporting Charles Schwab Trust Bank. The Trust Administration team plays a vital role as they are responsible for the first line risk management activities relating to the administration of Trust Bank retirement accounts. Through proper documentation and due diligence, this team ensures all accounts opened meet regulatory and Schwab policy requirements. The Team Manager also is responsible for ensuring that third parties comply with their contractual and risk management obligations. The Manager is also responsible for completing committee reporting to various management, risk and board committees.

This Team Manager will play a key role and will oversee a small team (currently 2 individuals) providing training, guidance, oversight and support. The team partners frequently with our Legal and Compliance departments as well as directly with the business partners, presenting many opportunities for exposure within the firm and the ability to make an impact.

What you have

Required Qualifications
  • Experience with ERISA, fiduciary oversight for retirement accounts, trust administration, or related bank regulatory experience in the financial services industry
  • 3 plus years of people management experience
  • Knowledge of MS Office products with a heavy emphasis on Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, if-then statements, formulas)
