Teamcenter Developer

We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in Teamcenter development, customization, and implementation. This role requires a deep understanding of PLM systems and the ability to develop and execute implementation strategies to enhance business processes. The position is Onsite in Novi, MI and requires close collaboration with engineering and other functional departments to optimize system functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute implementation strategies for Teamcenter PLM system functionality.
• Gather and analyze requirements, specifications, and design changes for the Teamcenter software.
• Collaborate with engineering and other functional teams to implement business process solutions effectively.
• Customize server and client-side components using C, C++, Java, Eclipse RCP, XML, JSP, JavaScript, JSON, HTML, AngularJS, TCL, ITK, Stylesheet customization, and SOA client development.
• Design and develop data modeling solutions using BMIDE.
• Implement robust solutions for business requirements while considering overall system impact.
• Customize Teamcenter modules such as Program Planning, Workflows, Organization, BOM Management, Change Management, CAD Integrations, Access Manager, Projects, Query Builder, Product Configurator, Structure Manager, and Manufacturing Process Planner.
• Support Teamcenter upgrade projects.
• Configure and customize Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC) to align with business process solutions.
• Work with change management processes including ECR, ECN, DA, and PR.
• Install and configure PLM tools for development environments on Unix and Windows.
• Develop and maintain custom applications and workflows using the Teamcenter API.
• Deep understanding of Dispatcher architecture (CATIA, NX, JT, STEP, IGES) and experience in customizing dispatcher services.
• Work in Teamcenter multi-site environments and Linux-based systems.
• Hands-on experience with Teamcenter Built-In reports, TCRA Reports, and data analysis.
• Configure and manage PLM databases and execute SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Provide training and support to the user community via group and one-on-one sessions.
• Follow SDLC methodology and Agile Scrum development approaches.
• Integrate Teamcenter with downstream applications like Matrix, ERP, MDM, and T4EA (Active Integrations Gateway).
• Provide weekly reports to management.
• Offer onsite support for Teamcenter applications, including integrations with CAD tools (CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, etc.) and enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve PLM platform upgrade issues in QA and production environments.
• Support Teamcenter Automotive Supplier Package (ASP), Validation, EBOM/MBOM, Change Management Modules, Workflow Management, and Data Migration processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of hands-on Teamcenter development experience.
• Proficiency in Teamcenter customization, including ITK, SOA, and AWC configurations.
• Strong knowledge of BMIDE, CAD integrations, and change management processes.
• Experience working with Teamcenter multi-site environments and Linux-based systems.
• Familiarity with SQL for database management and data extraction.
• Strong understanding of PLM integrations with enterprise applications.
• Experience with T4EA (Active Integrations Gateway).
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Teamcenter upgrade issues.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PLM to Metrix 2.0 integration.
• Familiarity with Cloud and On-Premises QAD instances.
• Prior experience in the automotive industry or manufacturing sector.
