Job Summary and Qualifications
As the Manager, Technology and Informatics, you will partner with stakeholders from the HIM/Coding Operations, Vendor Resource Management (VRM), Coding Quality Review (CQR) and Clinical Data & Registry Abstraction (CDRA) teams to manage HIM, Coding, & Abstraction governance activities. This includes the creation, facilitation, and maintenance of standards, policies and procedures for ingestion, curation, sharing, and archiving, as well as managing business analysis deliverables across multiple technology roadmaps.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:
- Handle and maintain confidential data sources.
- Manage, coach, and motivate team members for results.
- Perform staff reviews and prepare performance documents for direct reports.
- Successfully manage day-to-day priorities for team members to ensure proper focus and activities align with overall priorities.
- Manage team's work efforts across multiple internally developed and external applications that are used within the HIM, Coding, and Abstraction organization.
- Participate in project planning for technology and data execution planning pieces of the project.
- Responsible for the execution for technology and data project workstreams ensuring team's and ITG team's priorities are aligned.
- Partner with operational resources towards the creation of project and operational support documentation, such as business requirement documents, process and data flow diagrams, implementation plans and testing scripts, and reporting requirements.
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in analytics, business analytics, statistics, computer science or related field required. Master's degree optional. Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements.
- Four years' healthcare operations experience required
- Related experience must include clinical informatics and/or IT experience with additional organizational or project leadership experience.
- Experience in developing and implementing organizational policies, procedures, organizational business & strategic plans required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience required
- Knowledge and ability to manage Jira / Confluence configurations to effectively design and execute day to day operations
- Experience in various roles implementing large infrastructure-based technology systems preferred
- Demonstrated interpersonal and team-building skills
