BAE Systems is seeking a Curriculum Development and Content Manager who has a solid understanding of curriculum design, instructional design (ADDIE), and Program of Instruction development. This hands-on role will work closely with Government Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) Training and Tradecraft leadership and a team of instructors / curriculum designers and is expected to manage and execute several tasks and assignments that support learning product development, product management, and quality assurance activities.
This role will support Government Training and Tradecraft leadership to ensure that the curriculum framework for the products developed is aligned with the core-learning framework followed across all Army OSINT Enterprise lines of effort. She/he should bring in the subject matter expertise to support building the learning curriculum across both in-person and virtual delivery platforms.
This role will support the design and delivery of synchronous and asynchronous material while following the ADDIE model. You'll recommend cutting-edge multimedia technologies and strategies to support the building of a successful learning environment and catalog of training.
While this position is remote, communication is key, so you'll engage regularly with Government stakeholders and SMEs to discuss learning material and incorporate feedback.

Required Skills and Education

  • Master's degree plus 12 years of experience; OR Bachelor's degree plus 15 years of experience.
  • 8+ years of experience designing or revising existing instructional systems or development of new training programs, preparing instructor materials, and training personnel.
  • Experience developing curriculum using adult learning methodologies and inclusion of technological solutions.
  • Knowledge of training or instructional design best practices, including the ADDIE or Kirkpatrick model
  • Demonstrated experience in a field related to OSINT research, collection management, or analysis or the exploitation of OSINT, Publicly Available Information (PAI), or social media
  • Experience developing training programs ranging from live training courses and workshops to computer-based courses and workshops such as train-the trainer courses and workshops, or web-based training
  • Working-level experience with recent versions of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Graduate of Government OSINT Training courses (either the OSINT Basic Course or OS301/OS302)
TS/SCI security clearance

Preferred Skills and Education

  • Master's degree, ideally in Teaching, Education, or Learning Design; OR Bachelor's degree, ideally in Teaching, Education, or Learning Design.
  • Graduate of the Common Faculty Development - Instructor Course (CFC-IC) delivered by US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC)
  • Certification in Instructional Systems Design
  • Experience in Educational Leadership
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and develop components of instructional design, establish criteria for training aids, and measure effectiveness of the total instructional program to provide documentation
  • Advanced level experience with recent versions of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Prior military or government analytical training (e.g., all source, SIGINT, HUMINT or GEOINT)
