Senior Project Manager
Resource will be managing several large projects consistenting of multiple workstreams related to software and hardware remediations and coordinate statuses and ADO boards for a regulatory directed effort.
Experience: Senior Level
Qualifications:
-Solid Project Manager skillset required
-Experience managing large infrastructure projects involving multiple applications.
-Experience with Microsoft Office and Project to make project plans
-Experience in managing multiple project managers
-Direct experience in executing and delivering monthly financial reporting
-Demonstrated experience with building steer materials for a specific program focus
Nice to Have:
-Past FS experience: Finance Specific - has expertise in managing all phases of systems development from concept through implementation and maintenance.
- Past regulatory experience: While communication with the regulators is not required, an understanding of common regulatory patterns is expected.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for structuring a program made up of multiple projects:
Works with the project management team to perform the detailed planning, and managing project execution and completion of moderate or large projects
Manage the Project Managers thru daily interactions with meetings and 1:1
Coordinate SOW activities between Northern Trust and different vendors
Provide a senior management readable comprehensive program status bi-weekly summarizing the individual projects
Work with infrastructure, vended lifecycle, and application owners to remove blockers
Clearly document issues, risks, and decisions in comprehensive RAID logs
Prepare well defined agendas for meetings.
Ensure PM responsibilities are consistently understood (e.g. update the VLM tracker weekly).
Defines the phase deliverables, tracks milestones and incurred expenses versus planned expenses, schedules role sand resources, evaluates risks and recommends contingency plans Manages the development of the technical strategy
Assigns resources and tasks, and manages quality assurance, resolution of issues, status reviews and reporting, development of standards, change control, customer support, and compliance with all policies and procedures.
Demonstrated experience being the single point of contact for holding vendors accountable for their outcomes
Prior program management experience managing infrastructure projects upgrading one or more major infrastructure technologies (e.g. Operating System, Middleware, Database).
Salary Range:
$95,600 - 162,400 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits.
