About the role

Location: San Francisco, CA or Europe
  • An individual contributor excited to grow with the GTM org
  • Minimum experience of 5 years in a similar role: enterprise selling, sales engineering
  • Open to sales engineers looking to become sellers. Our customers are technical and value people who speak their language. We'd be excited to jump start a sales engineer's career transition to a seller.
  • Manage the full sales pipeline from lead to close, having excellent follow up and a process to make sure no balls get dropped.
  • Be a trusted advisor, working closely with prospects to learn about their needs and educate them on how LangSmith or LangChain can help.
  • Own the POC process to show the value of LangSmith, looping in sales engineering team members to support.
  • Be knowledgeable about the industry and best practices, being a guide for prospects as they embark on their GenAI journey.
  • Be a product expert. Learn about our newest releases and updates to keep prospects and customers up to date.
  • Build rapport with customers and nurture the relationship post close to ensure their success.
  • Negotiate deals to find win-win outcomes, and partner with counsel to redline contacts.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, relaying product insights and customer feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with customer support engineering and deployment engineering to advocate for your customers' needs.

  • You have excellent presentation and written communication skills.
  • You're creative and like building the playbook for sales at LangChain. You consider yourself an artisan in deal making vs. needing a process to be successful.
  • You like to win, and find a way to "yes". You're not easily deterred and can find outcomes that work for all parties.
  • You enjoy keeping up to date on the latest industry techniques to share with customers.

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive salary and equity stake for role and stage of company. Commensurate with experience.
  • Annual salary range: $225,000-$325,000 USD
