TechnicalAccount Manager, PharmaceuticalsIMCD UScurrently has an opening for a Technical Account Manager, Pharmaceuticals. Thisrole is based in the Mid-West, Texas preferred.

The AccountManager will have a dynamic and challenging role and will play an importantpart in IMCD's objective to grow earnings for our strategic principals.
The AccountExecutive will be responsible for managing sales territory to meet budget andother business objectives.

Successful candidates will be responsibleto:Makes in-person sales calls on purchasing, R&D, and other relevant customer contacts on existing customer accounts.
Uncovers and develops new prospects which fit the company's strategic market focus.
Attends select industry functions to build IMCD US Pharma network of customer, prospect, and supplier contacts.
Obtains training and develops knowledge in oral solid dosage forms and supplier products as applied to solid oral dosage forms.
Develops working knowledge of company key financial indicators and the qualitative effects of supplier and customer economics on these indicators.
Learns and uses the company's technical support system to assist customers (and sometimes suppliers) with basic technical issues.
Learns and uses company's commercial software system to provide commercial reports for customers and company management.
Refines call plan for territory.
Maintains relationship with accounts designated as telephone-only customers.
Achieves budget and other territory objectives (such as call frequencies, on-time, reporting, etc.).
Maintains sales records and information such as call reports, weekly and monthly reports, etc.
Provides additional information and reports as required by the company's management.
Manages additional sales-related projects as required by the company's management.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in physical or Life Sciences or seven years' experience in related industry/position.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
Experience in a fast-paced environment.
DesiredQualifications
MBA or equivalent.

SupervisoryResponsibility:Thisposition has no supervisory responsibility.

Work EnvironmentThis jobcurrently operates on a hybrid schedule rotating between in-office and remotework environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

PositionType/Expected Hours of WorkThis is afull-time position, and the hours of work and days are Monday through Fridayfrom 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise directed. Additional hours may berequired as needed.

TravelThisposition requires 50% travel. Frequent travel is outside the local area andovernight.
