Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Technical Accounting Analyst will provide support on a global scale for financial reporting, technical accounting, internal controls, and both internal and external audit programs. The ideal candidate should be highly scalable, possess excellent analytical and communication skills, strong financial systems knowledge and have the ability to work with a sense of focused urgency in a challenging and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical accounting research and prepare position memos as required.
  • Responsible for assessment of new accounting guidance and policy deployment/updates as needed.
  • Participate in compliance, audit and internal controls testing programs. This can include planning, preparing or reviewing documentation and testing workpapers.
  • Coordination of internal and external audits as assigned. This includes preparing requests, collecting audit support, and summarizing results.
  • Contribute to the monthly close and financial reporting process including preparing journal entries, performing monthly general ledger account analysis, and preparing reconciliations as assigned.
  • Lead special projects as assigned.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities to ensure optimal efficiency.

Background Requirements and Experience:
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
  • CPA license strongly preferred, but demonstrated progress towards CPA completion will be considered.
  • 2+ years of public accounting experience, with strong internal controls knowledge.
  • Experience analyzing and applying Revenue Recognition guidance.
  • Ability to solve problems using independent judgment and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with expert proficiency in Excel.
  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP a plus.
  • Great organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a high degree of maturity, diplomacy, and professionalism.
