Technical Architect

Objective of Role: This job is responsible for providing architectural direction and solutions that support Lifecycle Automation for enterprise applications that improve the customer needs.

Primary Skill: SQL Server, Visual Studio SSIS Experience, AutoSys, .NET multi-threaded windows service, Jira/Rally, Bitbucket, Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory.

Secondary: Agile Methodology, Knowledge of Application Security standards and App Management policy/standards

Experience: Minimum 8 years

Responsibilities:

• Consults with the business and operations to identify and understand challenges and opportunities to improve the use and effectiveness of data, find creative solutions through knowledge of the domain, practical experiments, and Proof of Concepts, and aligns the solution intent and architectural vision to an evolving backlog of data/schema change.
• Works with product management and other stakeholders to plan and prioritize data focused backlog items for the architecture runway to enable business epics/features.
• Performs design and code reviews to ensure all non-functional requirements for a solution are sufficiently met (for example, security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability).
• Leads rapid shaping of a high level architecture with details filled in with emerging business requirements and ensures architecture is flexible, modular, and designed to adapt easily.
• Educates team members on the data practices, standardization strategies, and best practices to create innovative solutions.
• Clarifies the architecture and assists with system design for the development teams to support implementation and provides solution options to resolve any architectural impediments.
• Utilizes the defined best practices, templates, and documentation to create architectural designs and suggests improvements to best practices and templates.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of SQL Server and Visual Studio SSIS experience.
• Experience with Bitbucket, Jira, Autosys.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills - both verbal and written is a must, the role would require written and verbal communications with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams.
• Design, develop and maintain custom applications or configure application systems and services with a working knowledge of developing and maintaining .Net multi-threaded windows service.
• Well versed in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools like JIRA/Rally, Bitbucket, Ansible, Jenkins, Artifactory etc.
• Experience with Agile Development ability to work with global delivery team to implement the technology solutions.
• Ability to identify and triage around issues of critical importance to achieving business objectives; Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical lead.
• Knowledge of Application security standards and Application management policy/standards.

Salary Range - $85,000-$115,000 a year
