Inside the Role
Team Lead role working closely with the Aftermarket organizations to develop the best in class dealer service applications and systems. This position will work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers and is responsible for day to day work prioritization, strategic decisions, and issue resolution. Designs and develops IT (integrated process, applications, data and technology) solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. Performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. Primary focus is on Techlane and TechAssist applications.

Position offers a starting salary range of $104,400.00 - $133,400.00 USD
Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

What You Drive at DTNA
- Act as a thought leader with business and other IT stakeholders to accomplish business, project and technical objectives with focus on application development and integration.
- Work on Agile / DevOps projects, providing business analysis and system design to facilitate the development of new DTNA applications.
- Consult with Business partners and IT colleagues to understand business requirements and how they translate into application features. Then translate these business needs into solution requirements, design and develop IT architecture solutions with developers.
- Coordinate application design and development tasks with external and internal developers.
- Lead technical planning, architecture development, data modeling and writing technical specifications.
- Help support an assortment of software development tools. Work with stakeholders and developers to solve problems.
- Perform system analysis to determine the system-wide impact of a change. Provide estimates based on analysis.
- Perform QA and integration testing for both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Assume Application Ownership responsibility for a suite of applications. Responsibilities include troubleshooting of problems, analysis for application enhancements and lifecycle management (technology upgrades).
- Share knowledge openly with team members and other colleagues.
- Collaborate with Product Owner(s) to ensure the strategic vision of the application is implemented
- Communicate and translate requirements and results to the appropriate developers, product owner, IT Management, business partner, or customer.
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with 5-7 years of relevant experience, or 8 years of experience in a related technical field in lieu of a degree
- Application development experience with both modern technology platforms (specifically Java and SQL)
- Ability to analyze applications, both from a functional and technical standpoint.
- Application QA Testing Document application requirements and system design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication across a variety of IT, Business, and Customer audiences (including developers, product owners, IT Management, Business partners, and Dealer/Fleet customers)
- Technical Writing Experience with both waterfall and agile development methodologies.
- Experience with agile methods and scrum ceremonies.
- Experience with data modeling and data analysis.
- Experience in analyzing and writing code development.
- Experience in Jira and Confluence.
