Job Description:
  • The Technical Product Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful deployment and delivery of technology products.
  • This role involves coordinating deliveries with teams to meet business expectations and providing quality assurance throughout the process.
  • In this role, you will lead and manage the technical delivery of the Global Cyber Security Product Security team (Application Security, Architecture, and Engineering), including managing our roadmap, epics, and stories in JPD (Jira Product Discovery).
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting of work efforts and KPIs.
  • Additionally, you will lead meetings, provide leadership summaries of the team's work, develop and gather metrics, and raise risks and issues
  • You will also support team processes by ensuring proper tracking of annual goals and timely status updates to key stakeholders.
  • Following up with team members to ensure adherence to processes and timelines is a key aspect of this role.
  • Lead and manage the technical delivery of architecture, engineering, and application security products and features to internal teams and business units.
  • Manage product backlogs and prioritize deliveries aligned with the sprint cycles and PI planning.
  • Develop and manage delivery plans, timelines, and high-level budgets, and supervise progress against commitments.
  • Oversee financial tracking and budget management.
  • Track schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Lead weekly stand-up meetings, and other key meetings, with technical teams to review deliverable status and escalate risks and issues to leadership.
  • Effectively manage dependencies and understand their impact on delivery.
  • Work with individual team members to help them clearly communicate their accomplishments.
  • Provide summary updates to key stakeholders on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Regularly assess team processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Set direction, empower, and encourage a large, diverse team under a shared vision.
  • Measure delivery performance and organizational change using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor progress, identify and quantify any variances, perform required corrective actions, and communicate to all collaborators.
  • Align collaborators and team members by ensuring a common understanding of expectations.
  • Solve difficult problems impacting the team or delivery; identify ways to improve current customer needs and ways of working.
  • Responsible for improving the overall quality of product or platform deliveries.

Qualifications
  • PMP, Prince, and/or Agile (Scrum/SAFE) certification
  • 4+ years of experience working in a large global IT organization
  • 3+ years of Product Delivery experience or Project Management
  • Demonstrated ability to work across a large set of internal customers in technical and non-technical roles.
  • Ability to handle consistent cross-collaboration and scope definition, thriving in ambiguity.
  • Someone willing to learn and have an engaging dialogue on the merits of a system.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and take accountability over delivery and quality.
  • Experience using Jira Product Discovery, Jira, or similar tools.
  • Proficient in organizing, assessing, and optimizing workflow and processes within a team.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism to maintain the trust and confidence of stakeholders.
  • High level understanding of cyber security and/or application development processes.
  • Adept at coordinating with various business units to ensure smooth operations and effective collaboration.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a high-level understanding of work within a large IT organization, knowledge of Cybersecurity, experience in project management, and Agile principles.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, are essential.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Beginning or intermediate cyber security or cloud certification
  • Experience with security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Basic understanding of cloud security principles and experience with platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Ability to stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring a team of cybersecurity professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
