About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Designer who enjoys weaving creative problem solving with technical accuracy to create amazing products. You will be responsible for owning Men's fit across all apparel categories. Ensuring fit and quality standards are well-executed and consistent across our Own Private Labels.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...
  • Manage product category fit sessions and work closely with internal Buying partners as well as external Vendor partners to execute fit intent and approvals.
  • Utilize innovative data platforms as well as 2D and 3D pattern and fit software.
  • Leverage client feedback to determine areas of improvement across styles and implement product action plans to improve fit consistency across your category/categories
  • Develop, implement and maintain category quality, construction standards and fit blocks
  • Build close relationships with the wider Technical Design team, cross-functional partners and external vendors, as well as leverage team member expertise and provide feedback when appropriate
  • Seek ways to streamline ways of working and opportunities to empower Vendors to fit approve samples
  • Have a flexible approach to working and adapt to seasonal changes to the assortments
  • Enjoy supporting across the broader Technical Design team as and when required (including women's/kid's)
We're excited about you because...
  • You have a strong knowledge and understanding of the fit and technical construction in Men's product categories
  • You are an excellent multi-tasker, extremely detail oriented and possess exceptional organizational skills
  • You are passionate about using data science and client feedback to help improve overall quality and fit of garments
  • You bring advanced expertise in the following: Textiles, pattern making, grading, construction and pattern terminology
  • You have experience working with factories, an understanding of production timelines, and how to cost engineering garment construction
  • You are solution oriented and can adapt to a fast-paced work environment
  • You are fluent in G-Suite, MS Office, Adobe Illustrator, and have strong experience evaluating 2D patterns (experience in Optitex 2D software or 3D Clo software a plus).
  • You have 4+ years of technical design experience in the apparel industry
  • You understand that this role is "Commutable" and you live within a commutable distance from San Francisco and can travel into the office 5-9 days a month.

Compensation and Benefits

This role will receive a competitive salary, benefits, and equity. The salary for US-based employees hired into this role will be aligned with the range below, which includes our three geographic areas. A variety of factors are considered when determining someone's compensation-including a candidate's professional background, experience, location, and performance.This position is eligible for new hire and ongoing grants of restricted stock units depending on employee and company performance. Salary Range

$96,900-$114,000 USD
