Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to lead the development and deployment of our AWS cloud platform. The role also involves gathering requirements from customers, analyzing them, and effectively delegating tasks to the offshore team
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze technical and business requirements from customers.
- Delegate tasks efficiently to the offshore development team and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Lead and oversee the design, development and implementation of the AWS cloud platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture and technical strategies for onboarding edge devices.
- Develop and optimize real-time data processing pipelines for time-series data and alert generation.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security and cost-effectiveness.
- Work closely with DevOps to establish CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Define data storage and retrieval strategies for structured and unstructured sensor data.
- Design and implement real-time alert mechanisms for anomaly detection and event notifications.
- Ensure seamless integration of asset and alert information into an interactive dashboard.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to the engineering team.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in cloud-based platform development, with a strong focus on AWS services.
- Expertise in AWS IoT, Lambda, Clickhousse, S3, ECS, and API Gateway.
- Strong knowledge of real-time data processing and event-driven architecture.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and React js.
- Experience in designing and developing scalable, high-availability cloud architectures.
- Strong understanding of security best practices, identity & access management (IAM) and data encryption.
- Prior experience working with dashboard visualization tools like Grafana or custom UI frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Edge Computing and IoT protocols (MQTT).
- Familiarity with serverless computing and microservices architecture.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or relevant cloud certification is a plus.
