What You'll Do

• Synthesize Technical & Business Requirements: Translate complex software and data concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation.
• Create & Maintain Documentation: Develop web-based, multi-page documentation with navigational links, as well as PDF documents for distribution.
• Work with Data Assets: Document data models, tables, attributes, APIs, reports, and related artifacts.
• Manage Documentation Systems: Leverage document management platforms to structure and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to gather insights and create meaningful content.
• Enhance Information Architecture: Evaluate and improve content organization for better usability.
• Client-Facing Role: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and documentation alignment with business needs.

What You Bring

• 8-10 years of experience in technical writing, with a focus on software, data products, and engineering programs.
• Expertise in information architecture, with a proven ability to structure large-scale documentation projects.
• Experience in financial services or securities industry preferred.
• Strong communication skills - both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and hit the ground running.
• Comfortable with transformational programs and large-scale presentations.
• Experience documenting hardware and software products.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Must have prior experience working with data products and a deep understanding of data models related to financial assets.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Prior experience working on SharePoint and Confluence documentation rebuilds.
• Strong background in data-driven documentation and engineering programs.
• Ability to articulate deliverables clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in a client-facing role, collaborating across various teams.
