About the Role
Fanatics Collectibles is looking for a Technical Program Manager, Engineering to help ensure the success of our most critical strategic programs and DTC product teams. The successful candidate should excel in managing cross functional relationships, be a great teammate, a lifelong learner, and phenomenal communicator with a passion for servant-leadership. In service of success, he/she/they will need to be flexible, agile and responsive in order to lead fast paced business critical initiatives. In this highly visible role, he/she/they will need the ability to move fluidly between communication styles to meet a varied audience, presenting to leadership one day and diving deep with engineering and design the next. This is a highly technical role where you will engage with engineering and product leadership and must be able to translate complex requirements into business actions.

The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $175,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.

Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for leading the daily execution, team health and day to day project management of our core Direct to Consumer (DTC) products.
- You will influence priority decisions; you will dive deep into architecture and operations, collaborate with engineering and product leaders to enable teams to deliver results.
- You will develop workback timelines, facilitate critical program reviews & retrospectives, while always maintaining a lens on continuous process improvement.
- You will maintain Program dashboards, progress reporting, presentations, communications, and actionable project plans in line with best practices of the organization as directed by the Senior Director, Program Management.
- Be able to work on multiple concurrent projects at any given time across our DTC business.
- Drive quarterly planning exercises with your engineering and product teams
- Be instrumental in launching and testing new services, product features and building for operational scale.
- Be able to get into the details of every project you run, understand technical as well as business issues, and provide hands-on support to bring the program to success.
- Have a proven ability to run Scrum teams at scale, remove blockers and partner effectively with engineering, product, design and QA on a daily basis
- Provide hands on technical project management and Scrum Master support to our engineering teams
- Be fluid in Agile and deadline driven project methodologies and be able to drive best practices with your teams
- Ensure proper documentation and issue hygiene across your teams using our productivity tools
- Have a solid product understanding in the Collector/Hobby space.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams, product consumer experience teams, and UX design teams.
- Excellent cross-organizational verbal and written communication skills to provide status updates and manage expectations effectively.
- Proven ability to manage projects and programs across cross-functional teams, build sustainable processes, and drive alignment.
- Strong strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, willing to roll up sleeves and execute
- Demonstrated experience leading digital product and project initiatives from start to finish, delivering on project goals, and driving business value.
- Highly detail-oriented with a relentless drive for business improvements.
- Ability to conceptualize complex, interrelated applications and system platforms and effectively communicate them to non-technical team members and business partners.
- Experience managing broad stakeholder groups to achieve strategic objectives.
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.
- Skilled in managing priorities, scheduling, and technology bottlenecks, driving escalation management, anticipating and making tradeoffs, and balancing business needs with technical constraints.
- Experience working on both data-driven, quick-turnaround projects and long-range initiatives.
- Proven ability to successfully partner with engineering, product, and executive leadership to drive programs to completion and minimize friction.
- Passionate about coaching teams and individuals to achieve great outcomes.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience in the sports, entertainment, or e-commerce industry is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Google Suite, Slack, GitHub, Atlassian products, Linear, and Notion.
