As a Global Security Systems and Technology Program Manager for Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS), you will be a part of the team responsible for support and sustainment efforts for a variety of security applications and their supporting infrastructure that keep Googler's safe and secure. We are looking for a top notch professional who can wear many different hats. Not only someone who solve technology problems amidst ambiguity, related to the full physical security technology stack (edge devices, network infrastructure, server infrastructure end user applications), diving deep with partner teams to understand the root cause, but also someone who has the organization and communication skills to lead technical projects of global scale and communicate technical issues to a non technical audience.
From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google's Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $151,000-$222,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience developing technical strategy and managing security in areas including Physical Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Video Management, PSIM, IT Networking, or Construction/Architecture.
- Experience in vendor or contract management.
- Experience interacting with technical and non-technical groups at various levels.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certification in Physical Security (PSP, CPP), IT Security (CompTIA Security ), and Networking (CompTIA Network , Cisco CCNA).
- Experience in technology strategy development, design and execution within Physical/Cyber Security industries.
- Experience leading global technology projects with technical proficiency, minimizing risk and ensuring successful delivery.
- Tack record troubleshooting, multi-team technical issues, driving resolution.
- Ability to analyze isolated events for broader trends and systemic issues, combined with the ability to communicate technical concepts verbally and in user-friendly documentation with technical acumen.
- Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and rapidly acquires new technical knowledge.

Responsibilities
- Operate as Technical Operations final point of escalation of issues, providing technical leadership of all GSRS physical security technologies in production and resolution to all issues in scope.
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders to drive escalations and ensure adherence to agreed upon Service Level Objectives (SLO's).
- Serve as technical oversight to project teams for physical security technology projects.
- Work with Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) partner engineering teams to influence and prioritize long term solutions from systemic issues affecting GSRS physical security operations technology.
- Own and are accountable for the content of GSRS technical security systems documentation.
