Description:

Nextonic Solutions is looking for a Technical Project Manager who will be responsible for managing a FedRAMP Moderate authorization project. This role requires interaction with a cross-functional team of technology and business professionals including cybersecurity, infrastructure, application development, business alignment, and business subject matter experts to ensure that FedRAMP authorization is achieved. Additionally, this role will be responsible for performing program management functions for other technical programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, resource allocation, and risk assessment, to drive successful project execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, subcontractors, and internal teams, serving as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication.
  • Oversee subcontractors involved in the FedRAMP Authorization process, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards, and deadlines.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks proactively, making informed decisions to keep the project on track and within budget.
  • Develop bi-weekly reports and present them to internal and external stakeholders with project updates
  • Participate in the development of proposals for responses to government contracts and task orders
  • Monitor the performance of our technical program and conduct performance reviews

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field
  • Experience in government contracting is required, preferably NIH
  • Proven track record managing subcontractors and track record of successful project delivery
  • In-depth knowledge of the FedRAMP Authorization process and related compliance standards (NIST, FISMA, etc.).
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and adhere to project timelines.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, and Slack is required
  • Experience with Jira or other project management software is required
  • PMP Certification is required
  • CISSP or CISM certification is required
  • U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the United States is required
  • Familiarity with software development, infrastructure, and other IT operations is a plus
