JOB SUMMARY

The Technical Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top technical & corporate talent to meet the growing demands of our organization. The role involves collaborating with hiring managers, understanding technical requirements, and employing innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage qualified candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top technical talent through various channels such as social media, job boards, networking, and referrals. Coordinates with company leadership at the executive, operational and business development for hiring needs.
  • Candidate Screening and Evaluation: Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and evaluate candidates' technical skills and suitability for the role through interviews and assessments.
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, define job descriptions, and ensure alignment on candidate profiles.
  • Candidate Engagement: Engage and maintain relationships with potential candidates, providing a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in technical recruitment to inform hiring strategies.
  • Employer Branding: Contribute to enhancing the company's employer brand through participation in recruitment events (in-person and virtual), networking activities, and representing the organization positively.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS) or other databases, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Updates internal recruiting tracker and attends weekly team meetings to share updates.

  • Knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods

  • Phone, MS Teams, and online collaboration platform skills

  • Familiarity with relevant employment Law
  • Professionalism, organization, and project management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Working knowledge of employment law and legislation
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Technical Recruiter or similar role within the DoD/Tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of technical roles, skills, and technologies relevant to the company's needs.
  • Familiarity with sourcing techniques and tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing demands.
  • Ability to close candidates and fill positions within tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
