Description
As a key supporting member of the Industrial Sales team, the Technical Representative - Roofing is responsible for providing technical support & warranty review/assurance in the field, as well as to internal sales and product development staff, specifically with respect to Goliath roofing systems and their installations.

Description
As a key supporting member of the Industrial Sales team, the Technical Representative - Roofing is responsible for providing technical support & warranty review/assurance in the field, as well as to internal sales and product development staff, specifically with respect to Goliath roofing systems and their installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for customer-facing technical support of commercial roofing systems. This includes maintaining close connections to ongoing project needs, issues, and progress, as well as working closely with the sales team on developing and supporting sales opportunities.
- Act as a technical resource with all project stakeholders including installers, consultants, building owners, architects and general contractors.
- Conduct final inspections on roofing installations in accordance with warranty requirements.
- Facilitate both high-level and detailed sales presentations highlighting the various features of Goliath Roofing Systems to all relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with sales and product development team members on application testing and other product related activities.
- Heightened degree of safety awareness and training related to the position and required duties/responsibilities.
Other Information:
- Work environment includes office, plant, lab, customer/construction sites, trade shows, other production facilities, warehouses, etc.
- Physical requirements of the job include working outdoors and exposure to the elements, working at heights, climbing ladders, carrying up to 50lbs of product/equipment, bending, reaching, twisting, etc.
- Must have valid drivers license, and full access to own vehicle.
- Exposure to potentially sensitive customers regarding delivery or quality issues which can lead to unpleasant situations.
- Standard work week, but will at times require evening and weekend work in order to satisfy business objectives.
- Prolonged absences due to travel requirements from 75-100 days per annum.
- Must have valid passport with the ability to freely cross international borders.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor of Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Five (5) + years of experience in low slope roofing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of low slope roofing installations.
- Experience working directly with customers focused on maintaining lasting business relationships.
