Your Duties:
- Develop a new customer and application focused sales strategy to meet defined sales budgets, identify new customer and industry targets, organizing a sales call schedule to execute the strategy.
- Build rapport with all levels of the customer organization to identify product, service, equipment, technical, and engineering opportunities, leveraging the various internal and external resources and contacts to solve unique challenges.
- Identify, outline, initiate, and advance new formulation opportunities with development and design engineers.
- Collaborate with both the customer and the necessary internal departments to advance new project objectives, providing samples, test data, quotations, and cost benefit proposals to obtain approvals from the necessary management, engineering and supply chain stake holders.
- New customer and application growth targets to include resin pre-blending, toll manufacturing, new formulation development, and point of use packaging improvements
- Maintain a defined pipeline of new opportunities, tracking and advancing to close, while maintaining communication with our internal team members to align supply and manufacturing resources as new production demand is approaching.
- Provide market intelligence to our formulation team for proactive formulation opportunities to solve gaps in current product offerings.
Requirements:
- Candidate will need to be located in the NY, NJ, PA, CT, GA or FL.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
- Five or more years of composite material and process technology work experience, or equivalent technical material sales
- Ability to travel up 75%.
- Proven track record of successful business development and profitable sales growth
- Strong technical acumen and ability to quickly learn new technologies and develop application insight.
