Technical Sales Engineer

Job Description
This is a full-time role based in Berlin, CT. This role will be crucial in uncovering new growth opportunities and prospective customers by showcasing company services and offering specialized technical guidance on prospective projects while addressing client needs through tailor-made and effective manufacturing solutions.

Essential Duties May Include:

• Focusing on expanding client base by proactively identifying and sourcing custom plastic injection molding opportunities for production
• Demonstrating technical features of injection molding capabilities to prospective clients
• Driving sales by building while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Traveling to customer sites and providing personalized service and support as well as managing on-site visits to showcase the facility and processes
• Collaborating with Engineering teams to develop accurate and competitive price quotes and proposals tailored to client needs
• Consistently meeting and exceeding established sales goals, tracking progress and adjusting strategies to maximize success

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (plastics preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical sales engineer or business development role within the Injection molding industry
  • Solid foundation of technical knowledge of custom plastic injection molding
