The Technical Sales Manager will support EG4 sales by providing expert technical guidance to key partners and driving business growth through strategic project involvement. This role bridges the gap between sales, engineering, and field operations, ensuring successful deployment of residential energy storage systems while enhancing partner capabilities through education and hands-on support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance to installation partners, including review of project scope, system design, and installation best practices.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive technical training program tailored to educate partners on deployment of EG4 solutions.
- Identify and evaluate unique application scenarios to support sales opportunities and expand market presence.
- Assist in the development and review of technical documentation, including installation manuals, product guides, and system specifications.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to resolve escalated issues and ensure timely and accurate troubleshooting.
- Support field installations as needed, including onsite visits to ensure system performance, partner success, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and grow team of technical sales specialists stewarding partners to successful implementation of EG4 solutions.
Expectations
- Work cross functionally within organization to ensure technical competency in the sales cycle by keeping team up to date on product capabilities and enhancements.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of time, including tradeshow attendance and visits to strategic partner locations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant code requirements and standards for residential energy storage installations.
- Technical competency in the design and deployment of residential energy storage systems.
- Maintain a sales centric mindset, ability to drive sales growth through technical competencies.
