In this role, you will lead initiatives within our digital transformation across the region specifically, within 911 Ambulance, Healthcare and Billing with specific focus on advanced technologies to improve our healthcare and customer services. Collaborating closely with business teams on strategic initiatives and teams across our technology hubs in Denmark, Poland and Colombia.
As the Technology Lead you will also have oversight of regional IT aspects and service delivery, including service and support delivery, work closely with the application and maintenance teams as well with vendors. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and operate next-generation technology solutions that align with business objectives and give Falck a competitive edge.
Advocate and promotes a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development within the DT business unit. Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the organization, drive and support initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, and delivery excellence.

Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with product managers and architecture teams to align regional goals and strategies with overall organizational objectives, fostering a cohesive and synchronized approach.
- Participate in development of annual roadmaps and area plans aligned with strategic DT and business goals.
- Lead realization of roadmap initiatives (Service and Cloud transformation)
- Manage IT operation and ensure SLA in region is agreed and maintained, including application and integration services within 911 and RCM.
- Cultivate strong vendor relationships and manage service quality.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, best practices, and innovation within the DT business unit, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies related to IT and data security. Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning efforts within area.
- Pursue continuous improvement initiatives and stay updated on emerging technologies.
- Administrative tasks related to vendor- or team management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration combined with computer science, information technology. Advanced degrees such as an MBA or master's degree in information technology can be advantageous. In lieu of specific course work or a degree candidates may substitute work experience at 2 to 1 ratio, i.e. 2 years of work experience for 1 year of formal education. Additional certification and course work will also be considered.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in enterprise companies, preferably in IT or digital organizations with progression in career and responsibilities
- Possess excellent communication and influencing abilities to effectively convey ideas, build relationships, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, team members, product owners, and senior leaders. Able to speak up when agenda points and decisions are unclear.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to make informed decisions independently.
- Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Experiences within the Public Safety industry, specific to Fire & EMS. Knowledge of Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems as well as Billing platforms, ERP (Oracle or Microsoft), EPIC EMR will be an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft platforms, including Office 365, Azure, SQL and Security tools. Proficient in continuous delivery and DevOps practices
