A private family business office in the Seattle area seeks a well-rounded technology-focused Project Manager. We are a streamlined team that considers every member a key player and requires each person to have a "jump in and get the job done" attitude.
The Technology Project Manager will report to the Director of Information Technology and will work autonomously on most projects. Therefore, this person must be able to succinctly communicate ideas both verbally and in writing for non-technical people. This is a hands-on position that will include a wide range of deliverables. This person must have a passion for delivering successful projects on time and within budget, have great people skills, and be able to quickly learn in-depth about our business to better serve every project's unique set of needs.

This is an exempt full-time position. Flexibility will be key in this role and may require work outside of traditional business hours. The candidate must be flexible and willing to travel, work evenings, weekends, and potentially on holidays.
Compensation:
As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, Northwestern LLC provides a range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of things including your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The starting pay for this position is between USD $180k and $200k. Primary Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Ownership of low-voltage elements for new construction projects, managing design and delivery of Security, Lighting, Network, Communications, BMS & Audio systems for large-scale estate projects.
- Select and Manage Vendors: Provide local site support on an ongoing basis.
- Ongoing Management: Oversee security systems and vendors across all locations.
- Advise Team: Recommend upgrades, patches, new applications, and equipment as technology advances.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years' experience in multi-location network design and systems administration.
- 6+ years' project management experience in a design & construction environment setting preferred.
- Low Voltage Systems Design and Management: Security systems (Access Control, CCTV, IDS, etc.), A/V systems, Smart Home Solutions (Specifically Alexa Integrations), Building Control Systems (Lutron/Crestron/Control4), etc.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, and up to 50% during peak construction phases.
- Strong interpersonal and clear communication skills.
- Authorized to work within the United States.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and written.
- Successful completion of thorough background investigation and reference checks.
