Responsibilities
  • The Sr. Analyst, Technology Risk & Compliance assists with the TRC activities, including IT Policy, risk practices, compliance with relevant regulatory and certification requirements, including Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards ( PCI-DSS), and HITRUST certification requirements.
  • Assists in the creation and management of an IT compliance program
  • Assesses IT controls and recommends remediation steps to management
  • Creates and executes detailed IT control testing procedures
  • Analyzes IT processes to determine control strengths and weaknesses
  • Interprets and consults on IT-related regulations and standards

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS+ at least 3years experience; OR
  • HS/GED + at least 5 years' experience
  • Experience with: IT Compliance, IT Audit, IT Security, Cloud Security
  • Must Have an Audit Background
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills (proficiency with features beyond basic formulas and formatting, including using pivot tables, VLOOKUP and SUMIF functions, and creating charts and graphs)
  • PCI (payment card industries) experience
  • Open to learning
  • Preferred: IT Security Compliance & ITGC Controls
  • Archer / Tripwire a plus

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
