What you'll do:
As an IT Outside Salesperson you'll represent the company by showcasing and selling our portfolio of IT services and products to new mid-market and enterprise size accounts. Outside Sales Representatives collaborate with inside sales, engineers, and management to develop comprehensive IT solutions for their prospects and customers. This critical role requires a sales hunter mentality. You will conduct constant customer research, networking, cold calling, and discovery, to uncover and convert viable opportunities.

Your Responsibilities:
- Work with prospects to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into proposals that satisfy their demands.
- Initiate contact with prospects that have been generated by the Marketing Team.
- Conduct onsite or online presentations that showcase the services and products of the company to prospects.
- Work with management to develop proposals, quotes, and respond to RFP/RFI documents.
- Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations.
- Manage the complexity of Managed IT services proposals, contracts, lease agreements, and service level agreements.
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the service offerings of the company.
- Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities in the company's CRM

Qualifications
About You:
- A proven outside sales track record of selling technology solutions including end-user computing, servers, storage, networking, software and professional services.
- a Hunter with IT contacts
- Hospitality experience a plus
- High-level commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building in the corporate world.
- Ability to open doors to new clients, and to close sales.
- Possess a track record of managing the customer commitment, negotiation, and closing of the sales process.
- Understanding of solution selling and creating value for business clients.
- Enjoy working with customers at all levels, including the executive level and external audiences.
- High energy and drive with good negotiation skills.
- Proficient with CRM applications and strategic pipeline management.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Skill in preparing written communications and materials.
- Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer care.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
- BA/BS, preferably in marketing, business management or a related field.
- 3+ years of field-based technology sales experience with established relationships.
- 5+ years of business development and quota driven sales experience.
- Deep understanding of technology solutions such as servers, storage, networks, and software from manufacturers such as HP, Microsoft, Cisco.
