Telehealth Nurse Practitioner

Full Time Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Michigan

Key Responsibilities As a Nurse Practitioner, you will:

• Provide exceptional outpatient care to adult patients.
• Conduct routine physical exams and wellness visits.
• Manage both new and follow-up patients, including chronic disease management.
• Address medical issues, order diagnostic tests, and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Develop treatment strategies based on diagnostic results.
• Thoroughly explain treatment plans, medications, and potential side effects to patients.
• Offer lifestyle and dietary advice for improved health outcomes.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and wound care.
• Administer screenings and vaccinations per current guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with on-site support staff and operate under physician supervision as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to departmental policies and procedures.

This position involves a combination of virtual care and in-person services, supported by a full front and back office team.

Qualifications We're looking for candidates with:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN, DNP, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• A current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in Michigan.
• Active DEA registration.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• A passion for delivering care in rural communities.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with connected devices and IoT.
• Experience handling medical or health data.
• Proficiency in various EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, Athena, etc.).
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small team environment
