The College of Nursing, University of Saskatchewan is seeking professional, innovative, and team-oriented individuals to join our community of scholars to push the boundaries of nursing knowledge and education. We are seeking applications from qualified individuals for two full-time, tenure track positions to be located at the university's Prince Albert campus.
The College of Nursing specializes in community-engaged health and nursing, health equity, and health systems and education research. We seek to be leaders in innovative technologies related to teaching and learning. Our "Learn Where You Live" approach to nursing education delivery is unique in Western Canada. We foster the development of rural and remote nursing education, interprofessional education, and Indigenous collaboration. College of Nursing researchers seek to improve health for individuals, families, and communities locally and globally. The successful candidates will be joining a research-intensive environment and will be expected to contribute to excellence in research and scholarship through high quality peer reviewed publications in their areas of expertise.
Prince Albert is the "Gateway to the North" and offers access to world-class fishing, hunting, and outdoor adventure. The stunning Prince Albert National Park and Elk Ridge Resort are located only minutes' drive from this welcoming city. Nestled in the heart of downtown Prince Albert, the College of Nursing offers a variety of programs from the University of Saskatchewan Prince Albert Campus, which serves as a hub for local and remote programming in northern Saskatchewan.
Candidates must hold a PhD or equivalent, have at least one degree in nursing and be eligible for RN or RN(NP) registration in Saskatchewan. Teaching experience and a defined program of research and scholarship is also required.

Ranks and salary will be based on academic and professional qualifications, experience and accomplishments of the successful candidates. The salary bands (2025-2026 academic year) are Assistant Professor $110,489 to $131,900 and Associate Professor $131,909 to $153, 329, Professor $153,329 to $178,319. These positions include an attractive comprehensive benefits package which includes a dental, health and extended vision care plan; pension plan, life insurance (compulsory and voluntary), academic long-term disability, sick leave, travel insurance, death benefits, an employee assistance program, a professional expense allowance, and a flexible health and wellness spending program.
