Summary
The Psychology Program, housed within the Division of Social Sciences, at Saint Xavier University, invites applications for a tenure track open-rank faculty position. The area of expertise is open, but we particularly invite applicants with expertise in cognitive, developmental, sociocultural, quantitative, clinical/counseling, or biological psychology.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Teach psychology courses related to one's area of expertise (12 credit hours each semester)
Engage in scholarship Engage undergraduate students in research
Provide service to the program and university
Provide undergraduate academic advising
Qualifications
Doctorate in psychology or a closely related? ABD applicants will be considered, contingent on a successful doctoral defense prior to August 2024
Evidence of effective teaching
Evidence of scholarship, e.g., peer-reviewed publications
Evidence of or interest in engaging students in research
