DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes and Containerization

DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes and Containerization

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated deployment pipelines with a primary focus on Azure DevOps.
- Design and build out Kubernetes clusters on leading cloud platforms.
- Manage and optimize k8s for peak performance and efficient resource utilization.
- Be instrumental in team's journey towards security accreditations.
- Implement and oversee containerization technologies, with a specific focus on Docker.
- Other additional duties as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer in a CI/CD toolchain.
- Proven expertise with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Experience with Docker and docker-compose.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Navigate monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack) with ease.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Additional Desired Skills:
- 3+ years experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with MQTT brokers such as Azure IoT Hub, AWS IoT Core, Mosquitto.
- Strong understanding of security best practices in containerized environments.
- Experience with industrial IoT applications.
