Essential Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities by engaging with healthcare providers, urgent care centers, and specialty clinics within the assigned territory.
- Present advanced diagnostic solutions and clearly articulate their value proposition to key stakeholders, including physicians, medical directors, and practice administrators.
- Drive sales and account penetration strategies to increase market share and revenue growth.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and continued service adoption.
- Educate healthcare providers on the benefits of rapid PCR testing, including its ability to differentiate viral and bacterial infections, enhance antibiotic stewardship, and improve patient care efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and senior sales leadership, to align sales strategies and market initiatives.
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets on a monthly and annual basis.
- Coordinate and execute training sessions for new accounts, ensuring seamless onboarding and adoption of testing solutions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes affecting diagnostic sales.
- Travel within the assigned territory (up to 50% travel may be required, depending on location).
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, life sciences, or a related field OR equivalent relevant experience in medical sales.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven ability to independently research, organize, and prioritize sales efforts.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
- Strategic thinker with territory planning experience and a track record of exceeding sales quotas.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4+ years of documented success in medical sales, preferably in diagnostics, laboratory services, or infectious disease testing.
- Experience selling into physician offices, urgent care centers, hospitals, or healthcare facilities.
- Demonstrated ability to educate and influence healthcare professionals on clinical solutions.
