Description

Captivation Software is looking for a senior level test engineer who will assist with daily responsibilities on the program.

Responsibilities

• Creating testing procedures to evaluate the performance of the software
• Designing manual and automated test procedures to evaluate each software product
• Building, coding, and implementing software analytic evaluation test programs and procedures
• Debug existing software and correct defects. Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
• Run the suite of software analytics and follow the testing procedures to evaluate the software
• Documenting all testing procedures
• Reporting bugs and making recommendations to improve the software code and/or functionality.
• Collaborating with other team members to gather understanding of tasks
• Retesting analytic code after bugs are fixed to ensure the analytics works properly
• Attending meetings with the development team, clients and other groups as needed
• Finalizing and documenting testing procedures.
• Completing final tests and creating testing suggestions for analytic software fixes

Requirements
Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

• Eight (8) years experience as a TE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
• Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Benefits

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
