Description

Captivation Software has an immediate need for a mid/senior level automated test engineer who will support testing of the new RAD application being developed to converge and replace multiple legacy SIGINT reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Assessing software quality through testing
• Automating test procedures
• Developing test plans, procedures, traceability matrices, and conducting test events
• Performing functional regression, integration, validation, and compliance testing
• Writing discrepancy reports to verify/validate software fixes.

Requirements
Security Clearance:

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of additional TE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
• Master's degree can be substituted for two (2) years experience
• Shall have a minimum of four (4) years experience as a Test Engineer in test engineering or integration of modern hardware/software systems.

Required Skills:

• Automating test activities and processes
• Supporting a Software Development team in developing an understanding of requirements and implementation processes for testing
• Supporting Agile software development processes
• Evaluating the effectiveness, quality, and performance of applications
• Identifying and troubleshooting system defects
• Documenting standard test artifacts (test plans, test cases, test reports)
• Evaluating web-based GUIs and API-based endpoints against defined requirements

Desired Skills:

• Using Cypress for test automation
• Evaluating web-based GUI accessibility standards (Section 508)
• Supporting application compliance using specific standards and controls
• Using Jira and Confluence

Benefits

• Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience)
