This is a key position on a new team and is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities

• Participate in supplying tests and test plans.
• Assures correct parameterization of all planning tools.
• Identify issues and resolve problems within the facility and daily operations.
• Review technical architecture documents, design and user documentation, product specifications and requirements; identify documentation defects and suggest corrections
• Determine resource and equipment needs for systems integration and test; provide labor and schedule estimates for product support; prioritize tasking to support customer schedules
• Participate in system installation and configuration; diagnose, analyze, and solve problems discovered during system setup and developmental testing
• Execute systems tests to verify design and requirements implementation to include quick-look, functional, regression, and scenario-based testing
• Assess compliance with requirements, design goals, security, systems performance, and usability; identify systems and software defects and analyze their causes
• Utilize basic electronic troubleshooting tools. DMM, oscilloscopes, power supplies, frequency generators, spectrum analyzers, and data collection too
• Maintain and update customer database files in CAD software.
• Work at the customer's site with government personnel to ensure program success
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in performing technical work surrounding test and evaluation of military projects. Able to, test items and related material, document (technical writing capabilities), and utilize instrumentation and test methodologies.
• Procurement experienced.
• Experienced with maintaining customer database files in CAD software.
• Briefing ability and able to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications (in addition to the Qualifications)

• Procurement background with inspection and quality assurance.
• Water jet certified.
• Auto CAD proficiency.
• Experienced in a COMSEC environment.

Clearance:

• Must have a current DoD Security Clearance; secret level or higher.

Education & Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• 4-9 years relevant work experience
• A degree can be substituted for 4 years of direct related experience.

Location:

• Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland.
• Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Schedule flexing is available with the PM's approval.
