We are looking for a TEST ENGINEER!
Pay: $85k - $130k/ANNUALLY DOE
SUMMARY:
- Karman Huntington Beach is looking for an energetic and team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills who will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products and equipment. As a test engineer, you will be required to perform daily functions such coordinating with other functional groups, supporting/conducting testing activities, and designing test equipment and procedures. Ideally, the candidate should have impressive problem-solving skills and be able to properly diagnose, troubleshoot, and report problems that arise with any specific product or equipment. The test engineer will work under the direct supervision of the engineering manager and work closely with other department team members as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. or M.S. Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent in relevant experience and registration
- Ideal candidates will typically possess 5-7+ years of relevant experience in aerospace and/or defense test environments, preferably including exposure to high pressure mechanical testing
- Ability to program control systems for test using LabView or similar
- Knowledge of military and commercial specifications preferred
- Active DoD SECRET clearance is a plus
