Experience Required
5+ years of progressively responsible

software testing experience.
3+ years of experience managing all

aspects of test planning and

execution for small to large projects.
Familiar with Test Driven Development

(TDD), Waterfall, or Agile (Kanban or

Scrum) methodologies.
Follows standardized testing

methodology/processes through the entire

testing lifecycle of a change.
Experience providing direction and

feedback to quality assurance

analysts/testers.
Experience providing direction and

feedback to test automation developers /

engineers.

Roles & Responsibilities

Adherence to Quality Assurance Methodology.
Timely completion and delivery of testing

artifacts, deliverables, and outputs.
Identifies opportunities for process

improvements with the Quality Assurance

discipline.
Manages expectations while effectively

facilitates stakeholder meetings and helping

drive decision making.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads all aspects of quality assurance and

testing activities for one or more projects,

including but not limited to:
Develops high-level and detailed resource

estimates.
Participates in and contributes to project

scope and planning discussions.
Reviews and validates functional and nonfunctional

requirements for testability and

test scenario / test case development.
Reviews project artifacts that may have an

impact on test planning and execution

(e.g., technical design specifications).
Develops, reviews and approves test plans

and determines the appropriate testing

phases and types for the project (e.g.,

smoke, performance, regression).
Provides testing tasks and activities for

inclusion in the project plan, and managing

those tasks and activities accordingly.
Identifies and provisions test data.
Develops testing entrance and exit criteria

with appropriate project team members

and stakeholders (e.g., developers, UAT

testers) based on testing phase and

environment.
Develops and reviews test cases, including

requirements coverage / traceability.
Manages test case execution, including

leading defect management and triage

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information

Technology, Computer Science or

equivalent work experience.
