Job Description:

Skills and Responsibilities:
Strong understanding of billing procedures andaccounting principles Excellent customer service skills with the ability tohandle customer concerns effectively Detail-oriented with a high level ofaccuracy in data entry and record keeping Proficiency in billing software andcustomer relationship management (CRM) systems Ability to communicate clearlyand concisely, both verbally and in writing Potential job titles:
Customer Service Billing Specialist, BillingRepresentative, Customer Service Billing Analyst, and Accounts ReceivableSpecialist.
Invoice processing: Generating invoices for customersbased on service usage or product orders, verifying accuracy of billinginformation, and sending invoices timely.
Payment processing: Receiving customer payments,updating account balances, and reconciling payments with invoices.
Billing inquiry handling: Answering customer questionsregarding their bills, explaining charges, and addressing any billingdiscrepancies.
Dispute resolution: Investigating and resolving billingdisputes, providing clear explanations to customers, and applying necessaryadjustments when appropriate.
Account management: Maintaining customer accountdetails, updating billing information as needed, and tracking payment history.
Payment reminder sending: Contacting customers withoverdue payments to remind them of outstanding bala nces and encourage timelypayment.
Reporting and analysis: Generating billing reports,identifying trends, and providing insights to relevant stakeholders.
