We are currently looking for an experienced Test Systems Site Integrator.
In this role, you'll oversee technical installations, including large mechanical equipment, process piping, control systems, Data Acquisition Systems (DAS), and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). Depending on project size, you'll lead teams or take a hands-on approach for smaller-scale installations.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Oversee daily site management for mechanical installations, including process piping, skids, and specialty equipment requiring heavy lifting.
- Manage daily site activities for electrical systems such as power distribution, grounding, wiring, data racks, and system checkouts.
- Lead daily whiteboard meetings to align teams and track progress.
- Coordinate work across MDS engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and specifications.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and schematics to resolve on-site technical challenges.
- Monitor and track out-of-scope work, assess change orders, and participate in bid reviews and contract awards.
- Develop, update, and maintain the site schedule while ensuring safety requirements and compliance with workplace policies.
- Oversee commissioning activities, including client-witnessed tests, training sessions, and system checkouts.
- Manage documentation, including acceptance forms, redlines, defect registers, and daily job logs for submission to head office.
- Ensure all systems and installations meet MDS and client requirements through coordination with engineers and suppliers.
- Coordinate on-site efforts involving direct staff, third-party personnel, and consultants to ensure project alignment.
What'll help you succeed?
- A Degree or Diploma from a recognized institution is required-an Engineering degree is preferred but not essential. Relevant experience is equally valued!
- 10+ years of hands-on site experience managing installations, commissioning activities, and leading teams and subcontractors in industrial settings.
- Demonstrate expertise in crafting method statements, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and all essential site management documentation.
- Excel with exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, coupled with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and risk management abilities.
- Leverage your leadership skills and a solid grasp of project management tools and computer applications.
- Ensure safety and compliance with in-depth knowledge of industrial Health & Safety regulations and requirements.
- Dive into a role focused on mechanical systems while embracing opportunities to expand your expertise in Electrical, Controls, and Instrumentation, or vice versa.
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is a must, and a second language is a great asset.
