Job Description
Job Title: Inpatient Physical Therapist
Job Specialty: Physical Therapy - Inpatient Rehabilitation
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off one shift every two weeks
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required
License: South Carolina PT License
Certifications: BLS
Must-Have:
- Must have South Carolina PT License in hand or provide proof of application for pending license
- Flu vaccine required, with medical/religious exemptions only considered
- No locals accepted within 60 miles radius
- RTO must be included at time of submission
Job Description:
- Work in a hospital-based inpatient rehab unit with a total of 28 staffed beds
- Wear pewter-colored scrubs
- Use Epic for charting
- Required to work one weekend per month
- No on-call duties required
- Possibility of working holidays
- No float requirements within the facility or to sister facilities
- Completion of 16 hours of non-billable orientation
- Average of 4 hours spent on non-billable modules, included in pre-start requirements
- All RTO (Requests for Time Off) must be included at time of submission, approvals subject to facility needs
- Be prepared for possible emergency response assignments during hurricane season (June through November), with peak months in August and September.
