Job Description
Job Title: Inpatient Physical Therapist
Job Specialty: Physical Therapy - Inpatient Rehabilitation
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:00)
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: 1 year required, first-timers welcome
License: State license required, submission possible with pending license
Certifications: N/A
Must-Have:
- Experience with EPIC charting system
- Ability to commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Job Description:
- Float between units as needed
- No on-call required
- Regular weekend work required; at least 1 regular weekend day
- Orientation includes 40 hours
- Expected to float between facilities within the state
- Completion of non-billable modules pre-start and annually, average 16 hours
Additional Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Flexibility in scheduling as requested during submittal; inflexibility may lead to contract termination
- Return staff policy requires a 3-month gap between permanent and travel roles
Note: Scrubs or business casual attire in certain areas; specific areas will provide scrubs. COVID-19 vaccination is not required; the status of the flu vaccine is unknown.
