Job Title: Speech Pathologist
Job Specialty: SLP Home Health
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00)
Guaranteed Hours: No
Experience: Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience required
License: Must have a valid license in hand
Certifications: CPR, BLS
Must-Have:
- Reliable transportation
- Current driver's license
- Agency-required liability insurance
Job Description:
- Perform home visits for speech therapy, with periodic office meetings.
- See an average of 5-6 patients per day.
- Assigned between 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6-8 points.
- Must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic with mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate (from patient home to patient home).
- Clinicians must accept every patient on their schedule and complete all documentation within 24 hours of the appointment.
- Workload created due to current staff on leave.
- Must be proficient in HomeCare HomeBase EMR and have used it within the last 6 months.
- Open to on-call rotations, please discuss specifics during the interview.
- Open to local applicants at the same rate.
- Must be open to floating to other clinics if the patient census is low.
This position requires dedication to patient care and flexibility with patient scheduling and travel. Please ensure compliance with all agency rules and requirements.
