Team Overview
We aim to bring discovery, inspiration, and joy back to shopping by making TikTok the commerce channel of choice for merchants, creators, and partners. The TikTok Shop Collectibles & Pre-Owned Luxury Team is looking for a collaborative and strategic thinker to drive category growth through cross-functional partnerships, strategy design, and project management.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute strategic projects to develop and optimize category strategies for the Collectibles & Pre-Owned Luxury sector, driving long-term GMV growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- Partner closely with cross-functional (XFN) teams to define goals, pilot initiatives, and identify key areas for continuous improvement.
- Conduct data-driven analysis, competitor benchmarking, and hypothesis testing to solve business challenges and identify new growth opportunities.
- Work with product & tech teams to design scalable, tech-driven solutions that lower entry barriers for merchants and enhance overall platform competitiveness.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills; a background in mathematics, statistics, business analytics, or related fields is preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce strategy & operations, category management, management consulting, or business strategy, with a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives.
- Hands-on experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to execute solutions that drive measurable business impact.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a structured and problem-solving mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Passion for luxury resale, collectibles, and high-value consumer goods markets.
- Startup experience, especially in marketplace, e-commerce, or consumer goods sectors.
