Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director, Pilot Training, the Training Program Manager (TPM) is a key member of the Flight Operations training team. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional training programs to our crew members and ensuring that all training meets industry standards. The TPM also supports the creation, execution, and regulatory adherence of all pilot training initiatives, contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of our operations.

Primary Job Functions:
The duties of the Training Program Manager include:
- Develop and manage all training programs as assigned by the Director of Pilot Training or their delegates.
- Oversee training programs, making adjustments based on industry best practices, trainee feedback, and data analysis.
- Collaborate with the Line Training and Standards Manager and the Initial Training and Ground School Manager to ensure timely and effective courseware and content development.
- Support the Pilot Training Development Manager by providing expertise and guidance on training-related matters.
- Lead the Crew Resource Management (CRM) program under the Director of Pilot Training, implementing industry-leading practices.
- Collect and analyze training data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and key performance indicators, and prepare reports for senior management on training outcomes and initiatives.
- Manage the training budget, ensuring efficient use of resources while meeting training objectives and requirements. Identify opportunities for cost savings and optimizations in training delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements:

- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Aviation Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training program management, preferably in aviation.
- Experience in a jet airline environment with more than 1000 flight hours is required.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering large-scale training programs.
- Experience managing compliance training and working with regulatory agencies (e.g., FAA, Transport Canada).
- Prior experience in a pilot training role is highly desirable.
- Experience managing a team of trainers or instructional designers.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Strong knowledge and familiarity with the following industry training methodologies:
- AQP (Advanced Qualification Program)
- EBT (Evidence-Based Training).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of communicating at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with MS Office products (e.g., MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to analyze training needs and develop innovative solutions.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills are essential.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage documentation and records accurately.
- Familiarity with digital learning tools, virtual training platforms, and multimedia content creation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing needs.
- Strong knowledge and familiarity with the following industry training methodologies:

- Requirements:
- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory employment references.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
