Job Description:

ELLKAY is seeking an Operations Transformation Manager to provide senior consultation in support of the design, implementation, and evolution of change strategies and plans to engage, inspire, and motivate people to embrace significant changes as the ELLKAY Enterprise Transformation (ET) team plans and executes its transition to its next generation platforms and systems to support Operations teams. The Operations Transformation Manager is responsible for leading and managing the transformation and change management activities that support the development and deployment of ELLKAY ET initiatives focused on Operations teams across the LKOrbit, LKOasis and LKOpera platforms. This role would report through the Operations organization (e.g. Office of the COO or Enterprise PMO) and ultimately to the Chief Operations Officer (COO).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Operations Transformation Manager is responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and evaluating transformation and change management initiatives for Operations tools/platforms and processes.
For Operations-focused initiatives, develop, lead, manage and execute change management actions and communicate business processes and methodologies to internal and external stakeholders and customers.
Serve as an advisor to the functional teams responsible for the implementation of tools/platforms and processes supporting Operational teams.
Actively support the development, deployment and sustainment of Operational tools/platforms and processes that includes engagement with senior customers and stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables and translate them into defined executable deliverables.
Develop and implement Organizational Change Management (OCM) approaches and strategies to implement transformational changes based on agile methodologies and practices.
Lead change management work streams with a structured methodology and process; develop, Update and modify change management plans as needed.
Develop and maintain strategic and tactical plans and procedures; define current and future business environments to implement effective business change processes that include planning, risk, and change management.
Establish communication channels between stakeholders to provide reliable and consistent risks identification and risk mitigation tactics.
Streamline the organization's enterprise change management process to significantly reduce service downtime while also delivering value to stakeholders and end users. This effort includes measuring risks and impact of enterprise changes on customers and end-users and providing constructive feedback to all levels of leadership about the effectiveness of business process changes.
Develop strategies to overcome change management challenges and track progress of change initiatives.
Manage the development of a communication strategy, training plans and process maps to create buy-in while providing the knowledge and tools necessary to support transformation efforts. This effort may include leading stakeholder analyses, such as surveys, focus groups, and interviews, to discover change barriers (e.g., resistance, comfort with new business processes) and develop strategies to overcome them.
Develop and monitor initiative metrics/measures for project/ program activities for reporting to management and stakeholders.
Integrate transformation/change management activities with project/business processes to avoid delays or disruptions.
Effectively apply change management principles that include understanding of the organization's culture, building solid vision to guide change processes, communicating change processes and planning for unexpected events.
Conduct change management studies and assessments to evaluate the adequacy, efficiency, and effectiveness of systems, procedures, and processes.
Collaborate with internal and external personnel and agencies at various levels of responsibilities to establish sound change management processes; exercise discretion and judgment in determining whether to broaden or narrow the scope of projects or studies that affect transformation efforts for Operational teams
Formulate recommendations and apply quantitative and qualitative methods, measurement, fact finding, and investigative techniques to provide the program management team objective-based information for making decisions on transformation initiatives and efforts.

Qualifications:
Expert knowledge of, and skill in applying change management concepts, principles, methods, and practices; performance management/measurement methods, tools, and techniques.
Expert knowledge of Organizational Change Management (OCM) approaches and strategies sufficient to implement transformational changes based on agile methodologies and practices.
Change management certification such as Prosci.
Experience leading change in an agile environment.
Demonstrated skill in project/program management principles sufficient to manage and execute in the change management goals, objectives, plans and procedures.
Demonstrated skill in conflict resolution sufficient to explore root cause(s) sufficient to achieve constructive resolution.
Demonstrated skill in developing and executing change management plans and road maps.
Ability to apply analytical skills and critical thinking to identify the trends and patterns in available data to inform change management decisions.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing and negotiate to build strong relationships/partnerships with various parties.
5+ years of overall professional work experience.
2 years of experience in a manager or lead position.
Experience in large scale IT system migration / technical refresh.
Ability to interact and negotiate with senior stakeholders on deliverables in support of project completion.
Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Experience in developing and delivering briefings to all levels of leadership.

Additional information

This is a full-time position at our HQ located in Elmwood Park, NJ. Remote work may be available in the US.
