Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience
• Advanced knowledge of sponsored research regulations

Additional Qualifications and Skills

• This position requires a professional with solid sponsored research skills and a proven ability to lead and manage an array of projects
• Must have familiarity with federal Uniform Guidance, FAR, typical Other Transaction Authority (OTA) Agreement issues and terms, and current issues in research administration
• Requires adaptability, planning, flexibility, judgment, and the ability to meet varying needs and demands of a complex community that includes a wide variety of scientific disciplines, faculty, staff, programs, projects, and sponsors
• Proven ability to work both collaboratively and independently in the management of multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Must possess excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
• Solid computer skills such as proficiency with Microsoft Office and desktop applications required

Additional Information

This position is based in Boston, but the work may be done primarily remote. Any remote work must be performed in a state in which Harvard is registered to do business (CA*, CT, GA, IL, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, RI, VA, VT, and WA). Individual flexible and remote work options for this role will be discussed during the interview process. *Note: Harvard employees working in California must be exempt.
